Abdominal fat is probably the most challenging of all weight loss problems. I am sure you are here because you or someone you know has experienced some form or version of the body weight problem. Losing abdominal fat as challenging as it may sound can be done given the right information and resources. I know this may sound unreal, but people do it every day with success.

About ten years ago I got married to my wife. We have been blessed with three children. My wife is a nurse by profession and I am an athletic coach and educator. For all my life I have been actively involved in athletics both as an athlete and a coach, so I have never had weight loss problems. However, my wife unlike me hates running. One time she told me she would come up with excuses all the time at high school so as not to run. Don’t get me wrong, she is an active lady by normal standards. She likes walking around, doing house chores, managing her nursing job and other day-to-day activities.
Then the Abdominal Fat problem started!
After we had our first child my wife was still fairly skinny, then everything changed after our second born. She gained unbelievable amount of weight within few months. Most of it was stomach or belly fat, —of course there was also weight gain on other parts of the body. None of her clothes could fit and she started losing confidence on herself. If you are a woman, you will probably understand this more than most men do. How sad is it to feel unattractive to your spouse? Abdominal fat can shutter a relationship!

As I mentioned earlier, I was a runner and I believed running to lose abdominal fat would be an easy solution. This could have been the case for someone other than my wife. Initially I was not worried about her belly fat situation, but then I realized she had started leaving for work without eating breakfast and sometimes she would go without lunch as well. I don’t know about you, but this was a good enough signal that her weight problem was getting out of hand.
